Crewe Alexandra midfielder Caspar Hughes has signed a professional contract with the Railwaymen.
The 17-year-old midfielder has put pen to paper on a one-year deal. It caps a memorable few weeks for the Crewe-born youngster, who made his debut for his hometown club as a late substitute during the victory over Stockport last month. Hughes, who had a spell on loan at Nantwich Town this season, follows Ollie Turton, Harry Clayton, Michael Koral, Andy White and Jason Oswell in signing professional terms.
