Shots duo leave on loan

Aldershot have sent striker Reece Connolly and defender Doug Bergqvist to neighbours Farnborough on loan.

The pair will join the Blue Square Conference South club for six months but there will be a recall clause inserted. Aldershot manager Dean Holdsworth said: "Both players will benefit from this arrangement and at this stage of their development it is important for them to be playing matches." Both players featured in a friendly for Farnborough on Wednesday night, with Connolly bagging a hat-trick.
