Bees swoop for striker Baseya

Barnet manager Lawrie Sanchez has signed French striker Cedric Baseya on loan from Championship outfit Reading.
The 23-year-old will become Bees Sanchez's sixth loan signing since the infamous 6-3 home drubbing by Burton Albion last month. Sanchez was forced to bolster his attack after Steve Kabba was ruled out long-term with a knee problem which will need an operation. Baseya, who has also had spells with Crewe and Southampton, could make his debut against Macclesfield on Friday night. He joins recent recruits Paul Downing, Michael Hector, Jack Saville, Allassane N'Diaye and Gavin McCallum on loan at Underhill.
