Vinny needs patience - Simpson

Macclesfield Town manager Gary Simpson has called on the club's supporters to go easy on youngster Vinny Mukendi.
Town are without a win in five League Two games, and the 19-year-old forward was the subject of criticism from a minority of the Silkmen's travelling support during Saturday's 0-0 draw at Gillingham. "Everybody gets frustrated and I'm like everybody else," Simpson said. "I get frustrated, but he's the youngest player that we've got on the pitch and one or two getting after him a little bit is not going to do his confidence any good. And also in the long run it'll not do us any good. "We haven't got a massive squad, we've got a lot of injuries and everybody's got to do their part. "I understand they pay their money and they can do what they want, but it would be nice if everybody pulled on the rope the same way."
