Seychelles international Kevin Betsy has had his contract at League One outfit Wycombe Wanderers cancelled by mutual consent.

Betsy scored 25 goals in 185 appearances during three spells at Adams Park but a lack of first-team opportunities this season has seen the Seychelles international forward look for new pastures. "Kevin has been a loyal servant to Wycombe Wanderers over the years, helping the club to a semi-final of a major cup competition and regaining our League One status," said manager Gary Waddock. "Despite not being involved as much as he would have liked this season, he has been a model professional and I would like to thank him for his efforts and wish him all the best for the future." Betsy joined Wycombe from Oldham in 2005 and excelled under John Gorman and Paul Lambert in his first spell with Wanderers, including helping the club to reach the League Cup semi-finals during the 2006/07 season, before moving to Championship side Bristol City. Following spells at Yeovil, Walsall and Southend, Betsy returned to Adams Park in September 2009, helping Wycombe to make an immediate return to League One last season. The 33-year-old said: "I would like to place on record my thanks to the fans for their support during my time at the club and wish them well for the future."
