Young duo fly Robins nest

Defender Will Evans and midfielder Matt Clark have left Swindon after falling out of favour with manager Paolo Di Canio.

Centre-back Evans progressed through the Robins youth system and made a handful of appearances for the Wiltshire outfit before falling out of favour following the arrival of Di Canio as manager in May. Evans moved to Hereford on loan earlier this term, turning out six times for the Bulls, and he has now returned to Edgar Street on a permanent basis. Meanwhile, Clark - who did not make a first-team appearance for Swindon after coming through the youth system - has seen his six-month contract at the County Ground expire and has been released.
