Sanchez feels for Senda

Barnet boss Lawrie Sanchez admitted the serious injury to Danny Senda overshadowed their draw with Swindon on Tuesday night.
The defender was stretchered off late in the first half of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Southern Area final first leg with a dislocated kneecap and had to be given oxygen in the changing rooms before being transferred to hospital. On the pitch, Swindon failed to follow up their shock FA Cup upset over Wigan as Aden Flint's first-half header was cancelled out by Mark Hughes' equaliser 18 minutes from time. Sanchez said: "We had our attention disrupted by the injury to Danny Senda who won't play again this season. To lose him for the rest of the season to what looked an innocuous challenge on him is the most disappointing aspect of the whole thing. "That overshadows the football, to lose a player who I've known since he was a kid at Wycombe. I gave him his first-team debut. To see him lying in the room here having to have oxygen is disappointing for everyone involved with the club." He added: "We didn't mark as we should have done for the goal, and at the start of the second half we came out and were all over the place, but we stuck to the task and got what I thought we deserved at the end of the day. I have no worries about going there in the second leg. They had brought on a defender at the end to shore up the defence."
