Cobblers boss releases duo

Northampton have terminated the contracts of Ashley Corker and Paul Walker.
Defender Corker signed a one-year deal with the Cobblers in July 2011 but has been deemed surplus to requirements after veteran Clarke Carlisle joined on loan for the rest of the season. Teenage goalkeeper Walker, a product of the club's academy, did not start a league game for Aidy Boothroyd's side. Boothroyd told the club's official website: "It is right for both lads to move on. "They are both good lads, but they need to be playing regular football. I wish them both well and thank them for their efforts."
