Cherries part ways with Thomas

Bournemouth have released young goalkeeper Dan Thomas from his contract at Dean Court.
The 20-year-old came through the Cherries' youth system before making four first-team appearances, although his last outing came in League Two as the club celebrated promotion with a 4-0 win over Port Vale in May 2010. Manager Lee Bradbury told the club's official website: "It wasn't an easy decision but I feel it was in his best interests and I wish him all the best for the future. "This gives him the chance to go and find a new club and get some first-team football, and there are a couple of clubs interested in taking him on. "He's been unfortunate that he has found himself behind two experienced goalkeepers but I feel he can further his career now."
