Wellard injury blow for Dons

AFC Wimbledon midfielder Ricky Wellard looks set to miss the final game of the season through injury.

Wellard picked up a hamstring problem during last weekend's 4-0 defeat at Barnet and has all but been ruled out of Saturday's visit of Shrewsbury. Dons assistant manager Stuart Cash confirmed: "I do not think Ricky will be fit and it may be his season finished." Left-back Gareth Gwillim is struggling with a virus but striker Christian Jolley should be fit after a shin injury.
