Accrington defender Sean Hessey has failed to agree a new contract with the League Two outfit.
Hessey did not play a game for Stanley after Paul Cook replaced John Coleman as boss in February as he was sidelined with a serious hamstring injury. The 33-year-old centre-back has chalked up 57 league starts for the Reds since joining on a free transfer from Macclesfield in 2010.
