York City's utility man Jamal Fyfield has committed himself to the club by signing a new deal to play next season.
The 23-year-old has put pen to paper on a one-year deal with an option for a further year. Fyfield made a total of 35 appearances for York last season and scored three goals, including a spectacular last-minute winner at Grimsby in March. The Minstermen went on to finish fourth in the Blue Bet Square Bet Premier before sealing promotion back to the npower Football League for the first time in eight years following their 2-1 win over Luton in the play-off final.
