Kitson bags Cobblers deal

Goalkeeper Neal Kitson has expressed his delight after signing a new short-term contract with League Two club Northampton.

Kitson, 26, initially joined the Cobblers in January and made eight appearances for the League Two club last season, saving a penalty on his debut at Crewe in March. "I'm delighted Neal has signed," said Northampton boss Aidy Boothroyd. "He's earned this contract on the back of his performances last season and now it's upto him to try and earn a longer deal."
