Brown seeks central defender

AFC Wimbledon boss Terry Brown is in the hunt for a centre-back ahead of the new season.

Brown, not looking to strengthen his squad in any other positions, will name two trialists in defence in Saturday's friendly against Reading. "We had already been looking at one player in training and another came in this week and we may have a look at him on Saturday too," Brown told the club's official website. "We will leave supporters with a bit of a teaser about who starts and finishes the game, but we aim to use the whole squad and mix it up a bit." New signings Curtis Osano and Warren Cummings are expected to feature in the game.
