Plymouth Argyle striker Rhys Griffiths is facing up to a fortnight on the sidelines with a calf injury.

The 32-year-old suffered the problem in training ahead of Tuesday's Capital One Cup victory over Portsmouth and a scan has revealed a tear to the muscle. "He had a scan and it's going to be a couple of weeks," manager Carl Fletcher told the club's official website. "It's not as bad as it could be, but I am still disappointed. "It's tough for Rhys. He's raring to go, chomping at the bit. "We will make sure he's 100 per cent right and recovered properly before he comes back."
