Midfielder Oliver Risser has left Stevenage at the end of his loan spell and joined League Two Aldershot.

The 32-year-old moved to Boro from Swindon in September and made 13 appearances for Gary Smith's promotion hopefuls. Risser's last Boro appearance came in a 4-1 defeat at Sheffield United in November, although he was an unused substitute in the loss at Walsall on New Year's Day. He has now left Swindon and signed a permanent deal with Aldershot until the end of the season. Shots manager Dean Holdsworth said: "I am delighted with the signing of Oliver. He is a strong, adaptable player who will fit in well with the squad. "He also played a valuable part in Swindon Town's championship-winning side last season and will provide excellent experience for us. This is a good acquisition and I am delighted with this news."
