Fleetwood have signed defender Ryan Cresswell from League Two rivals Southend on a permanent deal until the summer of 2015.
The 25-year-old, who was named in the League Two team of the season last term, has agreed a two-year contract at Highbury. "This is a good move at the right time and the club is going in the right direction," Cresswell told the club website. "It's a great move for me. I'll bring passion, aggression and I like to think of myself as a dominating centre-half. "I look forward to working hard with the club and delivering what is wanted - that's promotion."
