Byrne departs Gigg Lane

Bury have confirmed that midfielder Shane Byrne's contract with the club has been terminated by mutual consent.
The 20-year-old, who struggled with illness and injury last campaign, made 19 appearances in two seasons with the Shakers. Byrne had a year left on his contract but has decided to leave Gigg Lane at this stage.
