Worner hopes to build on clean sheet

AFC Wimbledon goalkeeper Ross Worner hopes both he and his team-mates can build on a first clean sheet of the season.
Worner was at fault for Millwall's opening goal in the 2-1 defeat in the Capital One Cup last week, but he bounced back in style as the Dons beat Wycombe 1-0 on Saturday. "When the final whistle went and I realised I had got a clean sheet I breathed a sigh of relief," Worner told the club website. "After what happened on Tuesday it was nice to get over that so quickly. As a goalkeeper when you make such mistakes you have to forget about it there and then. "It was horrible, but these things happen and it can make you a stronger goalkeeper if you can learn from it. "I was pleased with my performance against Wycombe. It was great to get a home win in front of our fans. Hopefully we can kick on now."
