O'Flynn considered Grecians exit

Exeter striker John O'Flynn has revealed he discussed a move away from St James Park before the transfer window shut.
The 31-year-old Irishman had not started a match since late November and the form of youth product Tom Nichols had seen his path to the first team blocked. But after being handed a shock start and impressing against Burton the day after the window closed, O'Flynn revealed that his previous lack of first-team football had seen him discuss a move away from the club with manager Paul Tisdale. "I spoke to Tis on numerous occasions because I hadn't played 90 minutes since November," he said. "There were a couple of things, I could have gone on loan - I just wanted to play games really. "I wasn't in the squad on the Tuesday (a 0-0 draw with Oxford, days before the window closed) but nothing materialised and I was back in the squad last Saturday. "It was great for me and that is exactly what I want - some games."
