Bloomfield: Rovers clash is huge

Matt Bloomfield has labelled Wycombe's clash with Bristol Rovers as one of the biggest games in his 10 years with the club.

The experienced midfielder has played 322 times for the Chairboys but says the showdown between two sides only kept out of the League Two relegation zone by goal difference with just two games to go is 'huge'. "In my 10 years at the club, this is the up there with the biggest games we've been involved in," he told the club's official website. "It's not been a great season and there's no point pretending otherwise. We've now got two games to stay in the Football League and the importance of this match is not lost on me and the rest of the squad. "Of course the prospect of what may happen has crossed our minds in recent weeks, and the thought of that makes me even more determined to do my utmost to keep this club up. "I've said before this season that talk is cheap and it's only the performance on the pitch that counts. We now have two huge games in the history of this club and we need everyone to be pulling in the same direction."
