Leyton Orient have confirmed that midfielder Lloyd James has signed a new two-year contract.

The 26-year-old was a key part of the O's side which finished third in League One and reached the play-off final. He scored the opening penalty in the shoot-out against Rotherham at Wembley but Russell Slade's side lost 4-3 on spot-kicks to miss out on promotion. James took to his personal Twitter account to express his delight, saying: "After a difficult week delighted to be signing a new contract with Leyton Orient and looking forward to next season #riseagain." James, who moved to Brisbane Road from Colchester in 2012, made 53 appearances in all competitions last term and scored five goals.
