Burton Albion defender Damien McCrory has put pen to paper on a new contract with the League Two club.

McCrory was one of a few players in discussions with manager Gary Rowett and Albion about staying with the Brewers. Speaking before McCrory signed new terms, Rowett told the Burton Mail: "The likes of Damien, Robbie Weir and Marcus Holness are all players who have contributed a lot to what we've done in the last two years. "I would argue that all three are of League One quality, which is not easy to find. They have played a lot of games and been durable players for us." McCrory, a 24-year-old midfielder, played 47 times for Albion last season, scoring once.
