Scunthorpe have completed the signing of Peterborough defender Shaun Brisley on loan.

The 23-year-old will stay with the Iron for an initial month and is expected go straight into Russ Wilcox's squad for Saturday's league game at Oldham. Brisley started at Macclesfield where he made 141 appearances in five years before joining Peterborough in February 2012. He has made five appearances for Peterborough this season, his most recent in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Leyton Orient earlier this month.
