O'Sullivan staying at Accrington

Accrington have agreed an extension with Blackburn for on-loan midfielder John O'Sullivan.

The 21-year-old, who will now stay with the club until December 20, was one of manager John Coleman's first signings upon returning to the Store First Stadium last month. He made an instant impression by scoring twice on debut in the 5-4 win over Northampton and has gone on to make five appearances for Stanley. "I am really pleased," O'Sullivan told Accrington's official website. "I spoke to (Blackburn manager) Gary Bowyer just the other day and told him that it's important to get league experience as a young player at a club like Accrington. "I feel I am learning with every game. I know I burst onto the scene at Northampton and then everyone expects you to do the same in every game but it does take time to settle in. "I said that I wanted to stay longer than a month and thankfully Blackburn have agreed. I am enjoying the experience and I don't think anyone has seen the best of me yet."
