Scunthorpe have agreed to extend Curtis Bateson's loan spell at Gainsborough Trinity for another month.

Bateson, who signed a one-year deal with Scunthorpe in the summer, turned in a man-of-the-match display in Conference North side Gainsborough's 6-3 weekend win over Colwyn Bay. The striker tweeted after the game: "What a win. Pleased to grab four assists and a man of the match award too! Can't buy a goal at the minute though!" Bateson has yet to make his first-team debut for the Iron.
