Curtis Obeng has returned to Swansea after his loan deal at Newport came to an end.
The 25-year-old made six appearances for Newport during his time at Rodney Parade, but has left the club despite a long-term injury to Andrew Hughes. Manager Justin Edinburgh said: "We were never likely to be able to do anything permanently with Curtis, in terms of the boy's wages. "Curtis feels he has one or two options for a permanent move elsewhere, so he's going back to Swansea so he can explore that. We wish him well."
