Walsall have handed new deals to Keiron Morris and Jake Heath that will keep them at the club until at least the end of the season.
Midfielder Morris, 20, scored on his senior debut in the Capital One Cup win at Southend and has since featured in six League One fixtures. "I've had a taste of what it's like to be in and around the team now and I'm delighted to have been given another contract," he told the club's official website. "It's a great club to be at for a young player. You only have to look at the young lads who have come through the academy here to see that. Hopefully I can kick on now and just continue to develop as a player." Fellow midfielder Heath has yet to appear for the Walsall first team but has impressed during a loan spell with Rushall Olympic. "I'm buzzing and couldn't have asked for anything more to be honest," said the 19-year-old. "I'm so happy. I told my family straight away and they're over the moon for me. Knowing I've got more time takes a bit of pressure off."
