Tranmere have agreed a deal to extend defender Josh Thompson's loan from Colchester until 24 January.
The 23-year-old signed for Rovers back in October and has gone on to make six appearances in all competitions. "Josh has done well in his time at the club and I'd like to thank Colchester for letting him stay with us for the full 93 days," manager Micky Adams told the official club website. "He's shown how dedicated a player he is as he battled his way back from a hamstring injury to return to the team ahead of schedule. "He has fitted in well with the rest of the squad."
