Byrom parts ways with Preston

Preston North End have cancelled midfielder Joel Byrom's contract at Deepdale by mutual consent.
The 28-year-old has not appeared for North End in over a year, since an FA Cup tie in December 2013, and has been with Oldham and Northampton on loan since. In total, Byrom made 41 appearances for the Lilywhites, who he first joined in the summer of 2012.
