Defender Luke Waterfall has left Scunthorpe by mutual consent in order for him to join Wrexham on an 18-month deal.
The 24-year-old joined the Iron in 2013 and made 10 appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal, while he also had loan spells at Mansfield and Macclesfield. The Sheffield-based defender did play against Wrexham in August when they drew to Macclesfield 2-2. Waterfall was also part of the Gainsborough Trinity side that Wrexham defeated to reach the FA Trophy final in 2013. "I've played against Wrexham and always enjoyed coming to the Racecourse," he told Wrexham's official website. "There were good offers from other clubs, but I think I have made the right choice. "I know Connor Jennings well from our time together at Scunthorpe and he certainly speaks highly of Wrexham."
