Hartlepool bring in Morgan

Hartlepool have signed Plymouth striker Marvin Morgan on loan until the end of the season.

Pools' boss Ronnie Moore wasted little time in filling the gap left by Rakish Bingham, who was recalled by relegation rivals Mansfield earlier on Monday. Morgan, 31, will go straight into the squad for Saturday's league game at Portsmouth. The Manchester-born forward started out at Yeading and had stints with Woking and Aldershot before a loan spell at Dagenham & Redbridge in 2011. Morgan joined Shrewsbury on a free transfer in 2011 and made over 90 appearances before joining Plymouth in the summer of 2013. He scored three goals in 17 starts for Argyle.
