Boss: Ingram was going nowhere

Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth insists the club had "no intention" of selling goalkeeper Matt Ingram on transfer deadline day.
The 21-year-old shot-stopper had been linked with a number of clubs higher up the football pyramid, despite signing a new three-year deal last August. However, Ainsworth believes Ingram remains committed to the club and its blueprint for the future. "We never had any intentions of selling Matt," he told the official club website. "He's a hugely important member of the squad and he's committed to the long-term plan which we have to stabilise and then grow the club."
