Krysiak hoping to claim spot

Gary Johnson will give Artur Krysiak the chance to stake his claim as Yeovil's number one goalkeeper when the Pole returns this weekend.

The former Exeter shotstopper has made just five appearances since making the summer switch to Huish Park but the 25-year-old will be handed a chance to impress against Crawley this weekend after Jed Steer returned to Aston Villa. "Artur has been improving all the time and we've been pleased with his improvement," Johnson told the Western Gazette. "He's been number two to Jed with no arguments, with no spitting out of his dummy and he's worked very hard. "He gets his opportunity like he did a couple of months ago."
