Former Watford midfielder Al Bangura has signed a deal with Coventry until the end of the season.

Bangura had been on trial with the Sky Blues, playing five times for the Under-21 side, and he will remain with Coventry until May 25. Most recently Bangura had spent time with Forest Green, while he has also played for Blackpool during his career in England. Coventry manager Tony Mowbray told the club's official website: "We've been impressed with the way Al has performed in training and for the Under-21s, and the way he has improved his fitness during his time with the club. "He gives us an option we currently don't have as he is a combative midfielder and even though he has been signed as cover, I want to see him force his way into the team."
