Roddan back with the Reds

Carlisle midfielder Craig Roddan has returned to parent club Liverpool following the expiry of his one-month loan spell.

Roddan, 20, made just one appearance for the Cumbrians when he stepped off the substitutes' bench in last month's home win against Tranmere. "Craig is a great lad and he has worked very hard with us, but it's one we aren't going to pursue at this moment in time," Carlisle boss Graham Kavanagh told the club's official website. "It goes without saying that we wish him all the very best as he goes back to Anfield."
