Portsmouth have appointed Anthony Williams as their assistant manager and goalkeeping coach.
The former Hartlepool shot-stopper, who was Pompey boss Richie Barker's assistant at Crawley, arrives at Fratton Park following the departure of Steve Allen and David Coles. Portsmouth's chief executive Mark Catlin told the club's official website: "We are delighted to have Anthony on board, but we are also sorry to see both Steve and Dave go. "They have both given the club good service and we wish them well for the future."
