Passley pays for tardiness

Josh Passley was axed from the Portsmouth squad which faced Shrewsbury on Saturday after turning up late for the game.
Manager Andy Awford blasted the on-loan Fulham defender's timekeeping and questioned his professionalism following Pompey's 2-0 defeat at Fratton Park. Awford said: "He was late for the game and it's not the first time that's happened. His professionalism isn't good enough in my opinion." Passley, 20, has made nine appearances since moving to Pompey in January. His initial loan deal was due to expire after the Shrewsbury game, but was extended until the end of the season on Thursday.
