Swindon have signed John Bostock on loan from Tottenham until the end of the season.

The midfielder, who has spent time at Sheffield Wednesday this year, revealed Spurs manager Harry Redknapp advised him to take the chance to work under Swindon boss Paolo Di Canio. Bostock told BBC Wiltshire: "To cut into a team that's doing this well is great. Hopefully I can work hard, play some games and add to that. "Harry said it would be good if I played under Paolo, just to get some games under my belt. If my manager tells me that then I've got to take heed to what he says. "I know that we are flying. Our desire is to get promotion and to win the league." Bostock could make his Swindon debut in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final against Chesterfield at Wembley on Sunday.
