Boro's Franks returns to Oxford

Striker Jonathan Franks has resumed his loan spell at Oxford from Middlesbrough after recovering from shoulder surgery.

Franks dislocated his shoulder in training in September and has spent six weeks on the sidelines, returning to Boro for treatment. But now the 21-year-old England youth international has been given the all-clear to go back to the Kassam Stadium, where he is due to stay until his loan spell expires on January 1.
