Lloyd lands Cottagers trial

Port Vale youngster Ryan Lloyd has attracted Fulham's interest and will spend a week's trial there at the start of May.
The highly-regarded midfielder, 17, is approaching the halfway stage of his two-year spell in Vale's youth team and his promise has not gone unnoticed by those in the top flight. Caretaker manager Mark Grew told Vale's official website: "It is nice to know Premier League clubs are keeping a watch on our players. "Fulham showed an expression of interest and Ryan will spend a week with them. "We've had lots of interest from both Premier League and Championship clubs in several of our players and it's nice to know we are going in the right direction."
