Bournemouth held by Bristol City

Bournemouth ended their pre-season campaign with a goalless draw against League One side Bristol City.

City striker Bobby Reid came closest to an opener in the early stages and was unlucky to see his long-range free-kick narrowly miss the woodwork. Mohamed Coulibaly and Marc Pugh responded for the hosts but both saw their efforts blocked by a determined City defence. Pugh had the Cherries' best chance of the second-half but drilled his shot straight at goalkeeper Frank Fielding. Ryan Fraser could only fire into the side netting late in the game with neither team able to find a winner.
