Bell heads to Gillingham

Gillingham have signed full-back Amari'i Bell on loan from Championship side Birmingham.

Bell is set for his third loan spell of the season and joins the Gills until the end of the current campaign. He has previously turned out for Swindon and Mansfield and will come in to cover the injured Joe Martin. Gillingham manager Justin Edinburgh told the club's official website: "He's a good up and coming player. He played in a very good Swindon side and acquitted himself very well there. "I'm delighted Birmingham have allowed Amari'i to join us until the end of the season and he will fit straight into that left-back berth." Bell's contract at Birmingham expires in the summer, though the Blues do have a year's option on him.
