O'Neil to join Scunthorpe

Scunthorpe have completed the signing of midfielder Liam O'Neil on loan from West Brom.
O'Neil, who will join up with the Iron on Monday, will stay at Glanford Park for an initial month. The 21-year-old progressed through West Brom's academy and has made two senior appearances this season in the Capital One Cup. He featured on three occasions last season in the Barclays Premier League. Scunthorpe manager Mark Robins hinted he would dip into the loan market again following the hamstring injury sustained by Isaiah Osbourne in last week's FA Cup win at Forest Green. The club is still waiting to learn the full extent of Osbourne's injury, but he could be sidelined for several weeks.
