Barnet have signed rookie defender Jack Saville on a month's loan from surprise Championship leaders Southampton.
The 20-year-old has yet to appear for Saints' first team but has had previous loan spells with Stockport and Hayes & Yeading. Saville told Barnet's official website: "I first heard about Barnet's interest a week go. "I am delighted to be here and looking forward to playing some league games." Saville is Bees boss Lawrie Sanchez's third defensive recruit in a the space of four days after Reading's Michael Hector and Paul Downing of West Brom arrived on Friday. He could go straight into Sanchez's squad for Tuesday night's Johnstone's Paint Trophy trip to Cheltenham.
