Coventry were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw in their enthralling pre-season encounter at Chesterfield on Tuesday night.
The Sky Blues went ahead through Chris Hussey's driven strike on the stroke of half-time before Dean Morgan levelled things up with a smart finish. Lukas Jutkiewicz headed David Bell's cross home to restore the visitors' advantage but Chesterfield were not to be beaten as Morgan's second of the evening earned them a draw.
