Protests at Sky Blues friendly

Coventry fans showed their discontent at the club's groundshare with Northampton in a 4-1 win over Nuneaton on Saturday.

Over 700 disgruntled fans released black balloons in protest at the Sky Blues' decision to move away from Coventry following a rent dispute and travel 34 miles to play their home games at the Cobblers' Sixfields ground. The League One side fell behind in the sixth minute but hit back eight minutes later through Callum Wilson to ensure it was 1-1 at the break. And the visitors flexed their muscles after the restart and sealed the win thanks to Leon Clarke's brace and a late effort from Franck Moussa.
