Dale downed by Leeds' Gradel

Max Gradel scored the only goal of the game as Leeds edged past Rochdale 1-0 a pre-season friendly at Spotland on Tuesday night.
United manager Simon Grayson named three trialists in his squad, including former Aston Villa and Bolton full-back Jlloyd Samuel. And the game's winner came in the 30th minute as Gradel fired a low shot past Dale keeper Matt Duke.
