Oldham midfielder Andy Holdsworth has delighted the club's medical staff with his recovery from a serious knee injury.
The 26-year-old is back in action following a seven-month injury lay-off similar to the complaint suffered by Manchester United and England midfielder Owen Hargreaves. Latics physio Marc Czuczman said: "It could have finished Andy's career. "Andy has had a few ups and downs, but he has done really well to overcome the injury. "We will have to be careful, however, how we manage his fitness correctly in future."
