Exeter v Oldham preview

Team news for Good Friday's League One clash between Exeter City and Oldham Athletic at St James Park.
Exeter boss Paul Tisdale is hopeful of having defenders Matt Taylor and Billy Jones back in his squad. Taylor missed the 2-1 win over Leyton Orient last weekend with a muscle strain but could return to face the Latics. Jones, who also missed the Os clash, has returned to training following a back problem and is also likely to be included. Midfielder Liam Sercombe should be fit to retain his place in the starting line-up despite suffering some discomfort on his return from an ankle problem, along with striker Daniel Nardiello who was substituted following a knock. First-choice goalkeeper Artur Krysiak is nearing a comeback from his thigh problem but will not be risked, meaning Ben Hamer will play the last game of his loan spell before returning to Reading. The Grecians are currently on a four-game winning streak but are five points off the League One play-off places. Oldham boss Paul Dickov will check on the fitness of skipper Reuben Hazell and Filipe Morais. Defender Hazell is nursing a knee injury and winger Morais is troubled by a hip problem, with both men rated as doubtful to face the Grecians. Paul Black is recovering from abdominal surgery while Deane Smalley and Dale Stephens are still out on loan at Chesterfield and Southampton respectively. The Latics cannot go up and now look safe from relegation so there is little at stake, although Dickov says a number of players are playing for their futures. A total of 13 first-team players are out of contract at the end of the season, including Hazell, goalkeeper Dean Brill and midfielder Ritchie Jones.
